Summary
This position is located in the Office of the Inspector General. The selectee must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
Job Responsibilities
  • Plan, conduct, and report on audits of Library of Congress programs and operations.
  • Assist the Assistant Inspector General for Audits in managing auditors’ work.
  • Ensure compliance with auditing standards, directing broad audits and reviews.
  • Perform human resource management functions such as resolving employee complaints and handling performance management issues.
Required Qualifications
  • Ability to supervise and lead a diverse workforce.
  • Knowledge of government and auditing standards.
  • Experience in directing and administering audits and reports.
  • Relevant degree in auditing, accounting, business administration, or finance, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience or certification such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
